Youth Alive Trust is offering a $5000 scholarship for an intern who wishes to join their
team of youth workers and advance their knowledge & experience, by doing a
Youthwork qualification www.praxis.org.nz

 

The Trust runs an array of
youth programmes in local Schools and after school clubs, as well as Holiday
Programmes, Camps, Mentoring, Library Support, Community Events and Volunteer
Training.  The role includes two days per week of lectures and tuition, and
two days of practical work.  You will join an existing team of youth
workers who have a passion for young people, a love for God and a heart to
serve!  You will also join a church family that has a big heart for
supporting the local community and doing what it can to serve it.  The scholarship is targeted at an 18-25 year

BasketBall Competition

Basketball Competition!!! Looking for teenagers who enjoy playing BBall and keen to play in a 3 on 3 competition in New Brighton representing Youth Alive Trust. Teams of 5 is ideal, but we can put teams together. There are 9 competitions

Mentoring Partnership

Looking for a creative genius…

We’re wanting a design for the front of a hoodie that YAT Staff and Volunteers can wear. Things to note:

– We’re not looking for a new logo
– It must include the words “Youth Alive Trust”
– It could incorporate images or patterns, eg: relevant to Brighton
– It will be printed on zipped and non zipped hoodies
– Designs would be prefered in digital format althou
gh we could work on it
– Send to office@yat.org.nz

A chosen winning design will receive a free hoodie with their name on the back.
(Sorry to say we can’t afford free hoodies for all 40+ of our volunteers, but we’re working on making them heavily discounted!!!)

Please don’t be offended if we don’t choose your design – it will go majority decision. Go Design 🙂
