We're soooo proud of our many amazing volunteers – 35 of whom recently won an award at the Canterbury Youth Awards! They give over 8,000 hours per year to their community – we couldn't be prouder! 🙂

Keen on playing some basketball over term 4? In school years 5-13? Then get a team of 3-5 players together for the 3 v 3 tournament over term 4. This is a social competition so no problems if you haven’t played before. Heaps of prizes up for grabs, so come give it a go.

If you’re into Basketball, there are still spaces available for the Kidsfest 3 Day Basketball Holiday Programme in Week 2 of the school holidays. Suitable for all abilities, it’s a chance to learn something new, show us your skills and make new friends. Ages 7-9 are 9:15am – 12:00noon each day and ages 9-12 are 1:00pm – 3:45pm. $75 for the three days including sweet prizes! More info and online registration at this link:

1. ‘Have a Go’ Music Lessons
Kidsfest special from 18th – 21st July. $25 for a 1 hour music lesson on 2 instruments with our trained Amplify tutors. Choose from Drums, Piano and Guitar.

2. Basketball Holiday Programme
Kidsfest special from 18th – 20th July. Ages 7-9’s in the mornings and ages 9-12’s in the afternoons. Just $75 for 3 days of coaching, drills, games and prizes.
