Basketball Competition!!! Looking for teenagers who enjoy playing BBall and keen to play in a 3 on 3 competition in New Brighton representing Youth Alive Trust. Teams of 5 is ideal, but we can put teams together. There are 9 competitions

The Red Cross are giving out Winter Grants for those affected by the Earthquakes and needing help with heating.
Youth Alive Trust has been running a partnership with Big Brother Big Sister to place mentors at Central New Brighton School. We’re still looking for more volunteers, but the media picked up on the story, so read about it here:
Looking for a creative genius…
We’re wanting a design for the front of a hoodie that YAT Staff and Volunteers can wear. Things to note:
– We’re not looking for a new logo
– It must include the words “Youth Alive Trust”
– It could incorporate images or patterns, eg: relevant to Brighton
– It will be printed on zipped and non zipped hoodies
– Designs would be prefered in digital format althou
gh we could work on it
– Send to office@yat.org.nz
A chosen winning design will receive a free hoodie with their name on the back.
(Sorry to say we can’t afford free hoodies for all 40+ of our volunteers, but we’re working on making them heavily discounted!!!)

Free Holiday Activities in the July Holidays for all locals! Details on Poster Below
Free Easter Holiday activities are again being ran in New Brighton Library by the team of youthworkers at Youth Alive Trust. Activities start at 2pm daily and include Flying Kiwi Circus, Hackey Tuition, Cup Cake decorating and a treasure hunt! Aimed at 10-15 year olds, although younger children must be accompanied by a care giver.
