We had an amazing 8 days with students from the school after fire damaged classrooms. We ran activities such as Games, Sports, Swimming, Gymnastics, 10 Pin Bowling, Laser Tag, Circus Skills and a free magic shows from Melanie Poppins! A number of community people have contacted us offering to ‘sponsor’ children needing childcare this week, realising it’s an unexpected cost. If you need childcare but the cost is a concern, please flick us an email: office@yat.org.nz or if you’re keen to sponsor someone, send an email to the same address.
Work & Income have just confirmed that if you are in their system and have a Oscar Work & Income Number (SWN), then their normal subsidies WILL apply!!!!! You just need to give us your SWN number and the hours you’re booking for the whole week and we’ll do the processing for you. Unfortunately, if you’re not already in the system, they aren’t able to set you up for this week.

Our first babysitting course of 2020 is now LIVE for bookings on Friday 17th April. Suitable for any teenager wanting to learn the basic of babysitting, good guidelines and basic first aid by a trained Plunket facilitator. All Weekly Clubs begin on the week of 17th February.
Registrations for all our programmes are now done through our database Aimyplus. Once you register for one of our programmes, you don’t need to re-register all your details again – just log-in and choose the programmes you want – easy! Register for the first time, or if you’ve registered in the past, log-in and choose the dates you want!

We have been running hour long Basketball Coaching sessions for primary school years for the past few years, but enrolment numbers have been low recently, we have pencilled in Mondays form 4:30pm – 5:30pm for Years 3 – 6 if there is enough interest. If there are some in Years 7 & 8 also keen, Email: rego@yat.org.nz with the age of your child and then we can record if we have enough interest. Just $30 per term.
