Term 2 Update

Kia ora whānau,

Term 2 Weekly Youth Clubs start again next week (Week 1).  The term plans for all our clubs have been uploaded to our website and registrations are already LIVE. In fact you can register for Terms 3 & 4 too if keen!  If your child or friend is keen to try a new club, but unsure if they’re going to like it, they’re welcome to just give it a try at no cost, if there are still spaces.  Also if money is an issue, please let us know as we can probably help: accounts@yat.org.nz

– Basketball Clubs (School Years 1 – 8) Mondays. Various Times.  $50pp

– Kitchen Klub (School Years 5 – 9) Mondays 4:00-5:30pm  $80pp (including food)

– Kōtirotiro Girls Club (School Years 1 – 6) Wednesdays 4:00-5:30pm  $50pp (including trips)

– Tamatāne Boys Club (School Years 1 – 6) Thursdays 4:00-5:30pm  $50pp (including trips)

– Craft Club (School Years 5 – 9) Thursdays 4:00-5:30pm  $60pp (including materials)

– Rock Solid (School Years 7 & 8) Fridays 4:00-6:00pm  $50pp (including trips)

– Surge (School Years 9 – 13) Fridays 7:00-9:00pm. FREE for teenagers (except trips)

Oscar After-School Care

If you’re needing after-school care for your children in 2024, Youth Alive Trust offers something a bit different, as a Seniors Only option, for School Years 4-9. Van pick ups from SNBS, Rawhiti, NBC, Nova, Chisnallwood, Avonside & Shirley. Most working or studying parents are eligible for govt subsidies. Amplify School of Music

If your child is interested in instrument lessons or joining a band, contact our Amplify team.  Drums, Guitar, Bass, Piano/Keyboard, and Vocal lessons, both in-school and at YAT, with the opportunity for instrument rentals too. More info at: https://amplify.mymusicstaff.com/
