We are thrilled to have finally fundraised enough to buy a van to replace the old Transit (known by some staff as the Tragic). Thanks to donations from Rotary Club of Christchurch Sunrise, 20 Friends of YAT who gave specifically to this cause and the sale of the van, we got a deal from local traders Hopman Motors on a 2014, 12 seater Toyota Hiace with just 100,000k’s, and a caged boot. It’s been signwritten by Steve from AFIX GRAPHICS and now just needs a name! (suggestions in the comments below) All 3 of our vans are used extensively for our after school clubs, holiday programmes, events, mentoring, camps and training, and we don’t expect to fundraise towards replacements for at least another 10 years!
