We are launching FREE Table Tennis Clubs again for any ability from beginners to those who’ve got ninja skills. It a chance to play socially, make new friends, learn new skills and enjoy a bit of competition. There’s no weekly commitment, and the only ongoing competition is a ladder system. All welcome!!

Got a child that wants to try music lessons but don’t want to commit?? Amplify School of Music is offering ‘have a go’ music lessons as part of Kids Fest in the July holidays. Lessons are 1 hour long and cost $25 per child. In that time they will get to try two instruments either Drums & Guitar, Guitar & Piano or Piano & Drums. Babysitters Training Course for teens coming again to New Brighton in the next school holidays: Tuesday 17th July 2018. Whether you’re already babysitting the neighbours kids or your younger siblings or want some credibility when looking for a babysitting job – this day is for you! Course covers expectations of a babysitter, the child and family, safety, play and basic first aid by a trained Plunket facilitator. This is the first Monday of the second week of the school holidays and there are limited spaces. Just $25 per person paid after you register online, through this link:

1) Got a Big Idea that will benefit young people in Christchurch? Youth Voice Canterbury has a contestable fund that will enable young people to gain the support needed to bring their Big Ideas to life and turn your ideas into action!

2) Dragons Den is a chance for young people to think of an issue in the Christchurch Action Plan and propose a solution for it. If the idea is chosen, the participant may receive $1000.00 to support the idea. This is being organised by the PYLAT Council – Pacific Youth Leadership And Transformation.
